    The best Fish and Chips me and my friend ever had in town. Good portion, and delicious crispy fish on the outside and perfectly cooked inside.! Sauces to compliment the fish and fries were great! Service was good and friendly and we both enjoyed our meals. I remember The Swingin' Door was rated high on TV years ago.

    I will still give them a 4 for their fish and chips which are the bomb, and the place has nostalgia, but what on earth is going on now with no free french fries or any other side dish when you order a burger or sandwich, you have to pay $9.99 for a side of fries. In a now run-down pub no less. Granted it still has its charm because a lot of us miss Prince of Whales and crave their fried fish (which still comes with fries, by the way), but for the price of a pub burger and fries I'd rather go to Molly O's. So just be warned if you go to Swinging Door, that those fries cost extra. $10 extra on top of a $13 burger? I get the meat cost and it's reasonable, but how does it make any math sense, when that potato would cost you less than a buck in grocery store?

    I wouldn't say I'm a regular, but I enjoy going to this place. Every time we went there is always good time. Although last time I went on Sunday, it was so quiet and very few people. Unfortunately, I have never tried their legendary fish and chips!!! I will submit another review once I tried it. We tried irish slammer and it was great! This place has many varieties of drinks, and their bartenders always know their stuff.
